Read MoreThis new and cozy accommodation in Caldas de Resi has four fully equipped rooms for one or two guests so they have everything they need for a comfortable and different accommodation in Caldas de Reis.
The guesthouse is located at Rúa Herrería, nº 21 in Caldas de Reis, the entrance to the town on the Portuguese Way, in the centre of the town and just a few metres from the Town Hall, where you can stamp your arrival at the 4th stage.
The section of the route that passes through Caldas de Reis is the end of the 4th stage (Pontevedra - Caldas de Reis) and the beginning of the 5th stage (Caldas de Reis - Padrón).
Caldas has always been an obligatory transit point for Portuguese pilgrims and for foreigners who entered Galicia via Tui, through the ports of Baiona, Vigo and Pontevedra, following the route marked by the two Roman roads, the XIX and XX, which crossed the province of Pontevedra, to Santiago.
Today it is one of the municipalities with the longest route on the Portuguese Xacobean Way, which begins in the parish of Arcos de la Condesa, and runs through the centre of Caldas to the parishes of Bemil, Carracedo and San Clemente.
